CAROLINE AUTENRIETH AND JOSÉ MARÍA GONZÁLEZ SAMPEDRO FROM THE „WALDHORN“ COOKING AND TELLING STORIES IN STUTTGART IN A DISCUSSION WITH DENIS SCHECK
Unfortunately, this event cannot take place!
Caroline Autenrieth is a trained theologian and a trained cook; together with her husband José María González Sampedro, they have been cooking at „Waldhorn“ in Stuttgart for over a year. The couple’s marriage between a Mallorcan Spaniard and a Swabian parish priest’s daughter is French. And that is also the language of their cuisine. For they met in Marseille, where Autenrieth, after her culinary training at Vincent Klink’s Stuttgart restaurant „Wielandshöhe“, absolutely wanted to work in the legendary Dreisterne temple „Le Petit Nice“ by Gérald Passedat. A documentary about this restaurant had originally inspired her to retrain after her theology studies, to leave her boring vicarage job and become a cook. On Fine Food Days Cologne cooks Caroline Autenrieth and José María González Sampedro a 4-course menu and discuss with Denis Scheck about cuisine, gastronomy and simple pleasures – not just on the plate.
