“Cooking with an open heart”
Max Strohe is a chef and host at the Michelin-starred “Tulus Lotrek” in Berlin-Kreuzberg. During the pandemic, he and his wife Illona Scholl founded the “Cooking for Heroes” campaign and were awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for their efforts. With his autobiographical book “Kochen am offenen Herzen”, Max Strohe has achieved nothing less than the invention of culinary pop literature, in which he tells of his years of apprenticeship and travel – a book that inspires and definitely makes you want a second helping. At the Fine Food Days Cologne, Max Strohe will be reading from his new book, discussing culinary art and literature with Denis Scheck – and cooking. In the 4-course menu with Wolkenburg chef Peter Golla, he will be serving the main course.
