The gifted literary critic and publisher Denis Scheck, who is known from the media for his show “Druckfrisch”, among others, is also a great connoisseur. The witty gourmet now shares his passion for food and drink at the “Culinary Quartet” at the Wolkenburg.

The recipe: Read the plate! In the culinary quartet, passionate discussions take place about taste-shaping readings, as well as the sense and nonsense in the kitchen and cellar.

Caroline Autenrieth, theologian and TV chef,
Julia Komp, Germany’s youngest star chef and today at the stove in Cologne’s “Sahila”,
Valentine Mühlberger, passionate sommelier and host of the “Weinbar Rix”,
and
Denis Scheck, passionate amateur chef and Germany’s most prominent literary critic

The Fine Food Days Cologne The Fine Food Days Cologne are a celebration of top cuisine. The protagonists of Cologne’s upscale gastronomy bring the immense potential of the cathedral city’s culinary culture to life in a variety of ways.
From August 25 to September 8, 2024, , outstanding chefs, restaurateurs and event managers will present their enormous culinary creativity and their sense of exquisite hospitality at the highest level.
The venues are the best restaurants in the city and many other extraordinary locations in and around Cologne. In addition to the direct gourmet experiences of Cologne’s culinary art, there are numerous other cultural events, including high-quality exhibitions, innovative cooking courses, readings with prominent guests and an exciting supporting program.
Weddings, birthdays and conferences are not merely held at the Wolkenburg.
